The origin of the name is a french word that means "to move, to touch, to feel, to stir up." The butterfly logo is a representation of movement, emotion, and soul.
Émouvoir's beginnings are as a women's apparel shop, but the goal is much greater, and it's built for a purpose — it's built for you, so please leave comments and suggestions and we'll make it better!
Founded by Mic Capota, his journey and passion for design started through wedding photography and journeyed further into it while remodeling his homes. Fun fact, he continued to dial into his passion for design while shopping for his family at stores such as Anthropologie, West Elm, and Williams-Sonoma, and all the stores required in a family of 6!
